LAURA CONWAY

DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

Laura Conway is Director of Development for Kudos and heads-up Kudos North.

 

While building an exciting slate of projects with the Kudos team Laura is currently working on a yet to be announced series for SKY and was co-Exec on Steven Knight’s BBC One drama THIS TOWN. 

 

Before joining Kudos Laura was a Development Script Editor for BBC Northern Ireland, working across the slate and on shows such as THE FALL and MY MOTHER AND OTHER STRANGERS. She was a Development Producer for CBBC Drama where she focused on developing original teen content like GET EVEN and was series script editor on DANGER MOUSE.  

 

Before making the leap to TV Laura worked in radio drama where she produced AFTERNOON READINGS for BBC R4 and worked as a production coordinator. Laura is a born and bread Mancunian who after studying Drama at Liverpool John Moore’s wrote and worked for theatres such as The Everyman Young Writers, Unity Theatre and Manchester Library Theatre.
